Wei Wai Kum First Nation

This project is working to protect and restore the Campbell River Estuary and nearby waterways that sustain it. The estuary has been impacted after decades of impacts from local industry. Specifically, this project is building partnerships, educational, and restoration programs that include watershed restoration and protection in the Campbell River Estuary, Quinsam River, Nunns Creek, and Kingfisher-Haig Brown Creek, while also inspiring future stewards within the community.
