Indigenous-led Watershed Restoration in the Upper Pitt Watershed

This project advances ecosystem restoration and support the recovery
of Pacific salmon populations in the Lower Fraser Watershed by undertaking watershed restoration and advancing the community's vision for a future sustainable economy. Specifically, this project includes restoration work in key salmon spawning habitat, and helps advance Katzie's implementation of the 'Katzie Upper Pitt River Watershed Strategic Plan'. The plan will guide decisions regarding the future of the fishery and the creation of a new economy based on the holistic management of ecosystems and resources.
